This time we are at Peng Hu which is known as the Jv mei island, our target fish is Cephalopholis argus. There are blue spots all over its body, which makes it spectacular.
Because Peng Hu has a complicated rock terrain, so there is a variety of Rhizodontidae resources. You can find groupers everywhere. It is a paradise for Rhizodontidae lovers.

For this fishing trip, we have brought the Rock Master model762L. It has great casting ability and good strength. Let's see if we can capture a big Rhizodontidae. For the first day, we are at a big open rock terrain area. The locals said that there are monsters attacking this area, which makes me very excited.

Arriving at the fishing spot, there are a lot of grandmas collecting rock oysters. Due to the tide, we can't fish too away from the shore, so let's start with the shallow area. If you watch closely, there is a variety of ecology. There are full of urchins and coral in different colors. Of course,  we can't miss the Rhizodontidae.

Using the 3g jig head with number six VH-10 hook, for the soft bait we use the 1.9 inches brown TT shake worm, which will make the Rhizodontidae bite all day.

When the tide gets drier, we will follow the water and walk outwards. But you must be careful with the wave, so safety types of equipment are also required like anti-skid shoes, life vests and so on.

When we finally reach the dry period, ii means that the tide is going to grow soon, the fishing time is very short, around half an hour.

So if you want to search those spaces between big rocks for big fish, you will have to switch to jig heads that are 10g. Bigger soft worms like 3-4 inches. Follow the bottom. But your bait will be easily be stuck at the bottom. So you have to adjust the water level of your bait. The hang time and the angle of the line is very important.

Cast a few times to check out the terrain, it is a little higher than I imagine. So we will try out the area beside it. After casting the first rod, the bait was taken away immediately. I reel in the extra line and raised the rod, and there we have our fish, the  Epinephelus corallicola

When we're about to finish, we use the HR valley hunter spoon silver-green 10g. We reel it back plainly and we caught a 30cm grouper. It is my personal new record. We look forward to coming back here for fishing.

Lure rod suggestions:
The Hearty Rise Rock Master 762L. It is good for rock terrain casting in a place the has different deepness. Using the connection with the blank and the butt, the blank is solid, so while using light jigs, it is also very sensitive, and you can easily see the signal when the fish is on. So it has great sensitivity and good casting ability. For the grip, we use the FUJI IPS reel seat with EVA blank detachable grip. You can hold it with one hand, and the lightweight and delicate design make it a masterpiece.

Bait suggestions for groupers:
We recommend the Hearty Rise TT shake soft worm 1.9 inches long. It has a soft texture and is good for Rhizodontidae fishing, It is sensitive and lively. The thread design makes it easy to swim in the water, and increase the swim motion in the water in order to catch fish attention, The glitter can reflect light to attract fish. We suggest you use the HR bullet sinker/ HR jig head with HR VH-10 hook.
